Sigma Technologies is a growing engineering and design firm with over 500 team members across 30+ states. For more than 25 years, our work for the power and telecommunications industries has helped accelerate and fortify positive impact in communities across the country. Our core values — Safety, Honesty, Truth, and Decency — fuel our culture. We are TeamSigma™.
The Technical Project Administrator – Permitting and Easements serves as a critical support pillar for our utility and telecommunications projects. You will work closely with internal project teams to ensure administrative and technical support functions related to permitting and easements are delivered accurately and on time. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting technical projects from start to finish.
In this position, you will coordinate permitting activities, research right-of-way and easement information, and maintain complete project documentation. You will prepare and manage project packages used by Field Technicians, Designers, Engineers, and Supervisors, tracking milestones and recording progress against established goals. While CAD skills are a supporting capability, the role is heavily focused on permitting coordination, easement research, courthouse and public records work, and landowner interaction.
Your work will blend office-based organization with active field engagement. You will spend time researching Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), Right of Way (ROW), and easement requirements, often visiting courthouses, municipalities, and public agencies in Georgia and South Carolina to obtain plats, deeds, and related documentation.
A significant part of your day involves professionally communicating with landowners, municipal staff, and other stakeholders to support easement access and project needs. You will also coordinate with Project Engineers and Supervisors to align on activities and timelines. Monthly travel (typically 1–2 times per month) is required to support courthouse research, municipal coordination, and project-related field activities.
This position is remote but requires travel within Georgia and South Carolina. New hires will be required to come to our headquarters in Perrysburg, OH for an initial 2-week in-person paid orientation and training period.
