Serco is seeking a Team Chief to join our growing team of diverse professionals at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. In this position, you will lead a team of retired military officers, non-commissioned officers, and highly skilled senior professionals. Working with general guidance from U.S. Army military and Civilian Professionals, your team will accomplish the Mission Command Training Program's (MCTP) mission: to train Theater Army, Corps, and Division commanders and staffs in simulated large-scale combat operations within a multi-domain environment.
As the Team Chief, you will manage contractors supporting the MCTP Operations Group, ensuring Performance Work Statement compliance and providing effective support for U.S. Army academic seminars, exercise planning, analysis, After Action Review development, and simulation operator training. You will work closely with the customer to support the MCTP's 300-calendar-day plan, preparing, executing, and assessing cycles for up to five Warfighter Exercises and other directed events annually. This role requires travel to worldwide exercise locations to ensure effective Operations Group support at geographically separated sites, as well as deployment with the U.S. Army customer during designated contingency operations.
Beyond operational execution, you will coach and professionally develop team members, cultivating and reinforcing organizational values, norms, and behaviors. You will identify and analyze problems, plan tasks and solutions, and lead the team in Quality Management processes. Your leadership will ensure the development and maintenance of contractor operations and training standing operating procedures, while monitoring compliance and reporting on team accomplishments and productivity.
