About the Role

This position guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals, establishing clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects. The role involves employing a variety of instructional techniques and media consistent with the physical limitations of the location and the specific needs of student groups. Teachers are expected to implement the District's philosophy of education through both instruction and action.

Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Context

The district offers a variety of ESE positions with varying qualifications, including roles for Autism, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, EBD, Gifted, PLA, SLA, Physically Impaired, VE, and PreK-Handicapped students. Specific roles such as ESE Certified Behavior Analyst, ESE Intervention Representative, ESE Lead, and ESE Site Coach require distinct experience levels and certifications detailed in the district's Job Description Directory.

Compensation Note

Teacher starting salary is $48,700. Additional Referendum money is available for the next four years, starting at $7,730 for the 2025-2026 school year. Teachers hired during the school year will receive a prorated supplement amount based on the date of hire.
