NTS is seeking a Tactical Video Systems Engineer to play a pivotal role in the design, integration, and sustainment of Mobile Video Systems (MVS) deployed in high-threat environments. As a subject matter expert, you will work closely with Protective Technology, Global Communication Systems (GSC), Communications & Information (C&I), and Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) teams. Your mission is to ensure that all MVS projects and field deployments maintain consistency, reliability, and security across every deployed system.
This position supports the U.S. Department of State C&I requirements across multiple overseas theaters. The role demands adaptability, as you may be required to deploy on temporary duty (TDY) to these locations to support the C&I engineering effort. During overseas deployments, you will rotate between theaters and multiple locations within each theater to ensure continuous operational support.
In this role, you will coordinate and deliver technical support for video systems, ensuring they always function at peak performance. You will identify, test, and implement new technologies, conducting proof of concept trials and managing implementations in both testing and training environments. A key part of your day involves determining training requirements for in-field technicians and developing a comprehensive MVS digital training curriculum.
You will adhere strictly to Configuration Management guidelines established within Protective Technology and collaborate with vendors, industry partners, and other government agencies to establish standardized certification processes for mobile systems and program-specific technologies. Additionally, you will develop comprehensive test plans and provide on-site U.S. Department of State oversight during verification testing in accordance with configuration management protocols.
Candidates interested in this opportunity should apply through the official NTS career portal. Please ensure your application highlights your experience in high-threat environments and your expertise in mobile video system integration.
