Northrop Grumman Space Systems – Missile Defense Integration (MDI) Business Unit has an exciting career opportunity in Huntsville, Alabama, for a Systems Engineer – Level 3 or 4 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position supports the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon Systems (GWS) program.
The selected engineer will support the GWS Execution Team in a flexible, multi-build capacity. Working closely with Build Leads, you will drive roadmap execution and provide technical build-execution support. This role blends hands-on engineering with cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless program delivery and high-quality products. You will create Technical Review Packages, facilitate and participate in design reviews, perform analysis and impact assessments for specification updates and releases, contribute to the Engineering Review Board, and interface with stakeholders.
This position is located in Huntsville, AL, and requires an in-person, closed-area work environment full-time with no remote options. Travel is required up to 10% of the time to support business needs. Please note that no relocation assistance is available for this role.
A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance is required at the time of application to start.
