About the Role
As an Extrusion Saw Operator on the 1st Shift, you will play a key role in producing high-quality aluminum products. Your primary focus is ensuring materials are cut accurately and safely according to customer specifications. You will verify order lengths and die profiles, confirm cut tolerances, and inspect materials for defects to maintain rigorous quality standards.
In this position, you will set up saw guides and equipment, monitor critical systems like blades and lubrication, and lead saw helpers to maintain production flow. You will also be responsible for creating protective rack setups, accurately tagging racks with order details, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. This role is ideal for dependable, detail-oriented individuals eager to learn, as no previous manufacturing experience is required.
Schedule
The position operates on a 1st Shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The team follows a 2-2-3 rotating schedule:
- Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days.
- Every other weekend features a 3-day weekend.
