Manufacturing Planner (Epicor Experience)

About the Role

The Manufacturing Planner is the operational heartbeat of our Houston, Mississippi facility, responsible for orchestrating the flow of materials and production schedules to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing operations. This role exists to bridge the gap between demand forecasts and physical output, optimizing inventory levels while preventing stockouts and minimizing excess.

In this position, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Production, and Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your day involves analyzing MRP/ERP data to resolve planning discrepancies, coordinating material flow between suppliers and warehouses, and adjusting schedules in real-time to address capacity constraints or demand changes. You will also prepare planning metrics for leadership and support cost reduction efforts through efficient resource utilization.

Work Environment

This is an office-oriented role performed in a moderate noise-level environment. The position requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, including laptops and monitors, and involves extended periods of sitting at a desk. The role also requires frequent standing, walking, and reaching, as well as close visual acuity for analyzing data and figures.
