About the Role

In this role, you will join a multi-disciplinary team of planners to develop and maintain complete, doctrinally compliant OPLAN or OPORD packages. You will serve as a critical link between military oversight and execution, producing rapid FRAGORDs and annex updates in response to exercise or scenario changes. Your work involves developing orders based on Decisive Action Training Environment (DATE) scenarios, real-world events, or military directives, ensuring all formatting aligns with U.S. Army, Joint, or NATO doctrine.

You will coordinate closely with military personnel, exercise designers, and control staff to ensure plans integrate seamlessly into exercise design and execution. This position requires conducting quality control reviews, including red-teaming and plausibility checks, to address legal, Rules of Engagement (ROE), and interagency considerations. You will also manage version control for all materials and provide briefings and lessons learned to senior military leadership and training audiences.
