This Physician-Surgical Critical Care position offers a unique opportunity to lead a complex general surgery program within an academic medical setting. The role is designed for a candidate with a strong interest in academic medicine who can drive multidisciplinary clinics and conferences. You will be expected to develop a research program in related fields to improve clinical outcomes for the Veterans' health care system and contribute to the established research initiatives in the General Surgery section. Additionally, a passion for the education of medical students and residents is essential.
The position operates on a standard work schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, ensuring a sustainable work-life balance.
