We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our operations near Brookwood, Alabama. About the Role
As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be the backbone of our preparation plant, operating various sizes of dozers, loaders, haulage trucks, and other specialized equipment in a safe and efficient manner. You will work closely with supervisors and fellow team members to ensure a secure work environment while strictly adhering to company policies and procedures. This position requires a commitment to excellence and the ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of mining operations.
Work Environment
Mining positions often involve working various shifts, including rotating schedules, weekends, and holidays as needed. The role demands physical resilience and adaptability to extreme conditions, including changing weather, dust, mud, varying noise levels, and confined work areas. Team members must be prepared to navigate uneven, rocky surfaces and different sections of the mine with varying clearance and headroom.
