Within the Shuttle organization, this position serves as a working supervisor for the Parking and Transportation department. You will be part of a team that takes exceptional pride in its work, never settling for what was good enough yesterday. As a supervisor, you will lead a unit within the department, setting day-to-day objectives that directly impact the results of the area. This role involves ensuring that work areas and equipment are safe, properly maintained, and free of debris, while also assisting with area and resource maintenance, inventory management, and staff training.
You will act as a bridge between operational needs and policy, assisting with the development of strategies and resolving customer concerns. Your day will involve monitoring emergency use areas, such as fire lanes and loading zones, to ensure resources are used properly, and reporting any accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences. This is a role where you will interact with and develop employees, fostering a culture of safety and quality while managing resources effectively.
