About the Role
The Supply Chain Coordinator II serves as a vital link in ensuring the seamless flow of internally transferred materials between PWI manufacturing locations and third-party re-packers. This role exists to maintain the accuracy and timeliness of inventory data, guaranteeing that all 12 manufacturing sites have the necessary supply of preforms, caps, and totes to meet their production plans.
In this position, you will actively analyze capacity models to proactively recommend mold placements and manage downtime risks. Your day-to-day involves developing weekly materials transfer plans, optimizing transfer lanes for cost savings, and supporting the custom label process by coordinating small batch orders and production schedules with partners. You will also play a key role in the raw material purchasing program by updating and communicating quarterly forecasts to vendors.
Work Environment & Safety
This role requires adherence to strict safety and quality standards. While on the production floor, you will be required to follow and help enforce all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and SQF requirements. This includes wearing required personal protective equipment such as hairnets, beard nets, earplugs, and safety glasses, as well as following all standard operating procedures for quality checks.
