About the Role

As a Supervisory Instrumentation Engineer III, you will serve as a technical authority and leader within a dynamic engineering section. This role exists to ensure the modification, installation, testing, evaluation, repair, and documentation of airborne test instrumentation and data acquisition systems across multiple shifts.

You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, managing their schedules, performance, and professional development while directly interfacing with internal and external customers. Your day will involve resolving complex technical problems through tolerance studies and design calculations, generating specifications for complex projects, and supporting the development of technical proposals. Beyond technical execution, you will foster a safety culture compliant with all JT4 and Air Force requirements, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the section's operational and expense budgets.
