About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Superintendent to lead our jobsites the Barringer Way — with discipline, heart, and a craftsman's eye. You'll be the steady hand in the field, setting the tone for safety, quality, and client experience from first pour to final walkthrough.
As a Superintendent, you'll own daily jobsite leadership — running the field, coordinating trade partners, and serving as the face of Barringer to clients, building occupants, and the design team. You'll work hand-in-hand with Project Managers to keep projects aligned with design intent, schedule, budget, and our mint-on-the-pillow client experience. Your role involves solving problems on the fly, mentoring assistant supers, and ensuring every project reflects the Barringer name through a clean, organized, and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleRead and interpret plans and specs, solving problems on the fly when the unexpected shows up
- check_circleCommunicate clearly and often with clients, building occupants, PMs, and design partners
- check_circleMaintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite that reflects the Barringer name
- check_circleManage project schedules, look-aheads, and trade sequencing to keep work flowing
- check_circleDocument daily progress, deliveries, and field conditions; flag issues early
- check_circleMentor assistant supers and field staff, passing along the craft and the culture
Requirements
- verified10+ years as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor
- verifiedValid driver's license
- verifiedProficiency with Procore
- verifiedFamiliarity with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office
- verifiedSolid understanding of OSHA standards
