A busy family of four is seeking a Summer Chef for their home in East Hampton. They are a fun and down-to-earth family looking for a great chef to join them this Summer.
This position runs from June 9th through Labor Day, with a general schedule of 5 days per week, including weekends. The role can be live-in or live-out, depending on the candidate's needs.
As the Summer Chef, you will prepare daily meals for the family, including children with varied preferences. The menu will focus on seasonal, local ingredients, accommodating frequent guests and small gatherings at the home. Beyond cooking, you will be responsible for grocery shopping, organization and upkeep of the kitchen area, keeping the pantry stocked, and managing kitchen clean-up and organization at all times.
The family is open to a gross daily rate, depending on experience level and the agreed-upon schedule. The rate starts around $800 per day gross.
