New Country Day Camp is an open-tent community dedicated to sustaining joyful, outdoor summer experiences where everyone can thrive. As a Jewish camp with a proud legacy, we are a multicultural community that represents and celebrates the heartbeat of New York City. Through innovative programming rooted in Jewish tradition and guided by universal values, we build meaningful connections with ourselves, each other, and the natural world.
We operate a 7-week outdoor summer camp for campers entering kindergarten through 8th grade. Our community is neurodiverse, and we are committed to supporting both neurodivergent and neurotypical campers and staff to ensure successful summers for all. The camp runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing transportation for staff and campers from multiple locations in Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn to our Staten Island campgrounds.
