Tennis Channel is offering an unpaid summer internship centered on production finance. This role serves as a bridge between academic study and the fast-paced reality of financial planning, budgeting, and operational support for live sports production. You will gain real-world exposure to finance processes within a media environment while earning academic credit.
In this position, you will assist with studio, remote, and PBTV production forecasting and planning. Your day-to-day will involve supporting payroll processes, including timecard verification and administrative tasks, as well as coordinating travel logistics for production teams. You will also gain insight into production logistics, purchasing, and expense reconciliation, helping to develop your organizational and analytical skills in a live sports setting.
This is an unpaid internship position intended to comply with applicable California and federal law governing unpaid internships, including educational training requirements. Because this is an unpaid opportunity, no hourly wage or salary is offered, and the role is not eligible for company-sponsored benefits except where required by law. Candidates must be currently enrolled as a junior or senior at an accredited college or university and eligible for academic credit.
