About the Role

As a Store Driver, you will serve as a vital link between our store and our commercial customers, ensuring parts are delivered safely and efficiently. This entry-level position offers the flexibility of part-time or full-time hours and is designed for individuals who are fleet safety certified and ready to support both delivery operations and in-store inventory processes.

Your day will involve a mix of on-the-road and in-store activities. You will be responsible for picking and staging parts for customer orders, delivering them to commercial clients, and managing returns and cores. Additionally, you will handle logistical tasks such as dropping off sales flyers and collecting credit accounts. When not on the road, you will contribute to store cleanliness, including floors, bathrooms, and the parking lot, as well as general stocking of the truck and back stock.

Work Environment

This role requires a balance of indoor and outdoor work. While you will primarily work inside the store, you will occasionally step outside to install batteries and wiper blades, exposing you to various weather conditions. The environment may also involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, chemicals, and moderate noise levels. The physical demands include frequent lifting and moving of items up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifts up to 100 pounds, as well as the ability to stand, walk, climb, and reach.

Advance Auto Parts accepts applications for this position for 60 days from the opening date. The compensation range for this role is $15.16 per hour, with the final rate determined by factors such as geographic location, prior retail or automotive experience, education, and shift differentials.
