Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking Store Clerks / Cashiers to assist with retail store operations, customer service, and processing sales transactions. This position is integral to maintaining a welcoming and organized environment for donors and shoppers alike. Employees serve as the face of the organization, greeting customers, processing transactions, and bagging items, and assisting with questions about donations and merchandise.

Day in the Life

As a Store Clerk, you will play a hands-on role in the daily flow of the retail store. Your day may involve operating the cash register, handling cash and card payments, and handling payments, as well as stocking shelves and organizing racks and displays to ensure the sales floor is attractive and accessible. You will also assist with accepting and sorting donated items, tagging and pricing merchandise, and helping maintain store cleanliness and organization.
