Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations and community mission. This position is central to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth processing of sales transactions. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, greeting customers, assisting them with their purchases, and answering questions to create a positive shopping experience.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a dynamic mix of customer interaction and store maintenance. You will operate the cash register, handling both processing sales and managing donations. You will assist customers with their items, bag purchases, and provide helpful information about our products. Beyond the register, you will contribute to the store's organization by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and displays, and tagging and pricing donated items. You will also help maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring the store is welcoming for all visitors.
