Store Clerk/Cashier

About the Role

Goodwill is seeking dedicated Store Clerks and Cashiers to play a vital role in our retail operations and community mission. This position is central to maintaining an efficient, welcoming, and organized store environment where donated goods find new life. As a Store Clerk, you will be the face of Goodwill, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and that our sales floor remains inviting and well-stocked.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve a dynamic mix of customer service, transaction processing, and store maintenance. You will greet customers warmly, assist them with their purchases, and answer questions about our products and mission. A key part of your role involves operating the cash register to handle cash and card payments accurately and efficiently.

Beyond the register, you will contribute to the operational flow of the store by stocking shelves, organizing racks and displays, and displays, and tagging and pricing donated items. You may also assist in accepting donations, sorting incoming items, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. Maintaining a clean and organized store is essential to providing a pleasant shopping experience for our community.
