About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and creating an organized, welcoming environment for customers. Associates play a key part in unloading trucks, sorting merchandise organization, and preparing the store for daily.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, your day involves a variety of physical and organizational tasks. You will be responsible for unloading delivery trucks, sorting merchandise, and organizing items in the backroom. Using tools like pallet jacks and carts, you will move inventory throughout the store. Your duties include stocking shelves, rotating products to ensure freshness, building displays, and labeling items. You will also help keep the backroom and sales floor clean and organized.

Overnight stockers focus on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while the store is closed. This position may involve working overnight shifts, which can come with differential pay.
