About the Role
Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing backroom efficiency and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized for customers.
Day in the Life
As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the store. Your responsibilities include unloading delivery trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and stocking shelves with fresh inventory. You will also be responsible for rotating inventory to ensure product freshness, building displays, labeling products, and keeping both promotional and regular, and labeling items correctly.
Associates may use equipment such as pallet jacks and carts to move merchandise throughout the store, as well as utilize inventory systems to track and manage stock levels. Maintaining a clean and organized backroom and sales floor is floor is a critical part of the role, ensuring that the store presents a professional and inviting appearance to shoppers.
Overnight Shifts
For those interested in overnight shifts, the focus is on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while the store is closed. This allows for a quieter environment to complete stocking tasks efficiently before the store opens to the public.

Compensation
