About the Role
Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations. support store operations by ensuring merchandise is available and organized for customers. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and preparing the sales floor for shoppers.
Day in the Life
As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, you will play a key role in the daily flow of the store. Your responsibilities include unloading delivery trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and stocking shelves. You will also be responsible for rotating inventory, building displays, labeling products, and keeping both promotional and regular displays, and ensuring the backroom and sales floor remain clean and organized.
Depending on the shift, you may use pallet jacks, carts, and inventory systems to move and track merchandise throughout the store. Overnight stockers focus on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while the store is closed.
