About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, well-stocked, and clean environment that enhances the shopping experience for our customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker, Backroom, or Receiving Associate, you will play a key part in the daily rhythm of the store. Your day typically involves unloading delivery trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and organizing inventory in the backroom, and stocking shelves with fresh products. You will be responsible for rotating inventory to ensure freshness, building promotional displays, and labeling products accurately. Using tools such as pallet jacks, carts, and inventory systems, carts, and inventory tracking systems, you will move and monitor merchandise throughout the store to maintain inventory accuracy.

Overnight stockers focus specifically on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while the store is closed, closed, ensuring that the sales floor is ready for the next day's shoppers.
