About the Role
Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy, keeping the backroom and sales floor organized, and sales floor clean and organized, and preparing the store for customers.
Day in the Life
As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, you will be responsible for unloading trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom. You will stock shelves, rotate inventory, build displays, and label products. Backroom and Receiving Associates may also use pallet jacks, carts, and inventory systems to move and track merchandise throughout the store.
Overnight stockers focus on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while the store is closed.
