About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, well-stocked, and clean shopping environment for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, you will play a key role in the daily rhythm of the store. Your day typically involves unloading delivery trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and organizing inventory in the backroom, and stocking shelves with fresh products. You will be responsible for rotating inventory to ensure freshness, building promotional displays, and labeling products accurately.

You may use equipment such as pallet jacks and carts to move merchandise throughout the store, while utilizing inventory systems to track stock levels and maintain accuracy. Backroom and Receiving Associates also Receiving Associates help keep both the backroom and sales floor organized and sales floor tidy and efficient.

Overnight Opportunities

For those interested in overnight shifts, Stockers focus on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while the store is closed. This is a great opportunity for individuals who prefer working during quieter hours. Overnight stockers may also be eligible for shift differential pay and bonuses depending on location and shift.
