About the Role
Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, well-stocked, and clean environment that enhances the shopping experience for our customers.
Day in the Life
As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, you will play a key role in the daily rhythm of the store. Your day typically involves unloading delivery trucks, sorting merchandise, and organizing inventory in the backroom. You will be responsible for stocking shelves, rotating products to ensure freshness, and building displays that attract customers. Using tools like pallet jacks and carts, you will move merchandise efficiently throughout the store while tracking inventory via internal systems.
Overnight stockers focus on preparing the store for the next day, ensuring shelves are fully stocked and the sales floor is ready for opening. Throughout the shift, you will assist with truck unloads, set up promotional displays, and help keep the store clean and organized, and maintain inventory accuracy. Whether working full-time or part-time, your attention to detail and physical stamina will contribute to the overall success of the store team.
