About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, well-stocked, and clean environment that enhances the shopping experience for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, your day involves a variety of physical and organizational tasks. You will be responsible for unloading delivery trucks, sorting merchandise, and organizing inventory in the backroom. Using tools such as pallet jacks and carts, you will move and track merchandise throughout the store using inventory systems. Your duties include stocking shelves, rotating inventory, building displays, and labeling products, and setting up promotional displays. You will also assist in keeping the backroom and sales floor organized and sales floor clean and tidy.

Overnight stockers focus specifically on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while the store is closed.
