About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring that the store is well-stocked and organized for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker, Backroom, or Receiving Associate, you will play a key role in the daily operations of the store. Your responsibilities include unloading delivery trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and stocking shelves with fresh inventory. You will also be responsible for rotating inventory, building displays, labeling products, and keeping both promotional and regular displays, and ensuring that both the backroom and sales floor remain clean and organized.

You may utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and carts, as well as inventory systems, to efficiently move and track merchandise throughout the store. Compensation and Incentives

This position typically pays $15 to $21 per hour.15 to $21 per hour, with opportunities for overnight shift differential pay, overtime pay, holiday pay, and performance-based raises depending on shift and location. Some locations may also offer overnight shift bonuses and attendance incentives.
