About the Role
Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing backroom bins, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized for customers.
Day in the Life
As a Stocker or Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for unloading delivery trucks, sorting merchandise, and organizing inventory in the backroom. You will stock shelves, rotate inventory, build displays, and label products to keep the sales floor ready for shoppers. Depending on your shift, you may use pallet jacks, carts, and inventory systems to move and track merchandise throughout the store.
Overnight stockers focus on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while the store is closed.
