About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, well-stocked, and clean environment that enhances the shopping experience for our customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, you will play a key role in the daily rhythm of the store. Your day typically involves unloading delivery trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and organizing inventory in the backroom, and stocking shelves with fresh products. You will be responsible for rotating inventory to ensure product freshness, building promotional displays, and labeling products accurately.

You may use equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, and inventory systems to move and track merchandise throughout the store. Overnight stockers focus on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while the store is closed.
