About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining an organized, well-stocked, and clean environment that enhances the shopping experience for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, your day involves a variety of physical and organizational tasks. You will be responsible for unloading delivery trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and organizing inventory in the backroom, and stocking shelves with fresh products. You may also use equipment such as pallet jacks and carts to move merchandise and utilize inventory systems to track stock levels.

Overnight stockers focus on preparing the store for opening while the store is closed, opening by stocking shelves and setting up promotional displays while the store is closed. Throughout the day, you will rotate inventory, label products, and keep both the backroom and sales floor organized and sales floor tidy and efficient.
