About the Role
Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations. support store operations by unloading deliveries, organizing inventory, stocking shelves, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. This position typically pays $15 to $21 per hour, with opportunities for overnight shift differential pay, overtime pay, holiday pay, and performance-based raises depending on shift and location.
Day in the Life
Associates are responsible for unloading trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, stocking shelves, rotating inventory, building displays, labeling products, and keeping the backroom and sales floor organized. Backroom and Receiving Associates may also use pallet jacks, carts, and inventory systems to move and track merchandise throughout the store.
