About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, you will be responsible for unloading delivery trucks, sorting merchandise, and organizing inventory in the backroom. You will use tools such as pallet jacks and carts to move goods, and utilize inventory systems to track merchandise throughout the store. Your day may involve stocking shelves, rotating inventory, building displays, and labeling products, and setting up promotional displays. Overnight stockers focus on preparing the store for opening while the store is closed.
