About the Role
Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by unloading deliveries, organizing inventory, stocking shelves, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. This position is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring the store remains clean and organized for customers.
Day in the Life
Associates are responsible for unloading trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, stocking shelves, rotating inventory, building displays, and building displays. Backroom and Receiving Associates may also use pallet jacks, carts, and inventory systems to move and track merchandise throughout the store.
Overnight stockers focus on stocking shelves and preparing the store for opening while the store is closed.
