About the Role

Walmart is seeking Stockers, Stockers, Backroom, and Receiving Associates to support store operations by ensuring the smooth flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This role is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and keeping the store organized and ready for customers.

Day in the Life

As a Stocker or Backroom Associate, you will play a key part in the daily rhythm of the store. Your day typically involves unloading delivery trucks, sorting and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and organizing merchandise in the backroom, and stocking shelves with fresh inventory. You will be responsible for rotating stock, building displays, labeling products, and keeping both promotional and standard, and ensuring that the sales floor and backroom remain clean and organized.

You may use equipment such as pallet jacks and carts to move merchandise, and utilize inventory systems to track stock levels. Overnight stockers will focus on these tasks while the store is closed, preparing the store for the next day's opening.
