The State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) serves as a vital link in the continuum of care, providing essential support to residents within healthcare, long-term care, or assisted living facilities. Working under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, this role is dedicated to upholding the safety, dignity, and quality of life for every resident. The position goes beyond routine tasks; it is about fostering an environment of compassion where residents feel secure, respected, and cared for during their daily lives.
Your day is defined by meaningful interaction and attentive care. You will assist residents with their activities of daily living, from personal hygiene and grooming to mobility and feeding, ensuring their nutritional needs are met and their comfort is prioritized. Beyond physical care, you act as a keen observer, monitoring changes in residents' physical, emotional, or behavioral conditions and communicating these observations to the nursing team to ensure timely interventions.
Safety and hygiene are paramount. You will adhere strictly to infection control protocols, maintain a clean living environment, and utilize personal protective equipment as required. A significant part of your role involves building genuine connections; you will engage residents in conversation, offer emotional support, and encourage participation in social and recreational activities to enhance their overall well-being.
You will be an integral part of a collaborative healthcare team, working alongside nurses, therapists, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive care plans. We value a people-centered approach, where every team member is supported through mentorship programs and opportunities for internal growth. Our culture emphasizes compassion and patient-centered care, ensuring that both our residents and our staff thrive in a supportive environment.
We are committed to rewarding our team with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan with company matching. We offer flexible financial tools like Early Pay via Tapcheck, generous paid time off including floating holidays, and a referral bonus program. Additionally, we invest in your future with continued education loan repayment programs powered by Clasp and robust internal upskilling opportunities.
We welcome new graduates and those with prior experience in healthcare settings. If you hold a current and active State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, we encourage you to apply. Join us in making a difference in the lives of residents through compassionate, attentive care.
