About the Role

The Revenue Integrity Division in the Revenue Integrity & Intelligence Bureau (RIIB) is seeking a State Administrative Manager to lead the Contact Center Support Section. This role is designed for a professional who thrives on planning, organizing, and directing work activities to optimize functionality and exceed goals.

In this position, you will oversee the setting of priorities, development of tactical plans, scheduling of assignments, and direction of daily operations. Your primary mission is to ensure high-quality support is delivered to the Revenue Services bureaus in alignment with business needs. You will play a key role in ensuring that critical contact center processes, tools, and technologies are effectively implemented, maintained, and continuously improved throughout Revenue Services operations. Additionally, you will help optimize standardized functionality within a future tiered operations structure to ensure business area needs are met consistently and efficiently.

Location and Work Model

This position requires work to be performed in the state of Michigan. If you currently reside outside of Michigan, you must relocate prior to appointment; relocation expenses are not reimbursed.

The role operates on a hybrid remote work model. You will be eligible to work remotely on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with onsite work required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Selected candidates must maintain a safe, designated workspace with secure and sufficient internet access (minimum 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload). Please note that hybrid remote work approval is at the discretion of the appointing authority and is subject to change.

  • Transcripts: Official transcripts must include the institution name and address, degree conferred, date granted, and coursework completed. They must bear the Registrar's signature/seal and be recognized by the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). Scanned or electronic copies are acceptable if they contain all required elements.
  • Foreign Transcripts: Applicants with degrees from foreign institutions must have their credentials evaluated into U.S. equivalents unless already recognized by CHEA. This evaluation must be provided at the time of application.
  • Interviews: Interviews may be conducted virtually using Microsoft Teams. Instructions and tips will be provided to all scheduled candidates.
  • Background Check: This position involves access to Federal Tax Information (FTI) and requires passing a fingerprint-based background check per IRS Publication 1075.
