About the Role
The Starter Golf role is the heartbeat of the golf course, responsible for managing the flow of play to ensure an orderly and efficient experience for all players. You will be the first point of contact for members and guests, setting the tone for their day by enforcing club rules, assisting with course etiquette, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position is vital for maintaining a smooth pace of play and ensuring a positive, inclusive environment for everyone on the course.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleMaintain course supplies including scorecards, pencils, tees, and ensure signage is tidy
- check_circleRepair ball marks, fill divots with topsoil, and position cart guidance ropes and supports
- check_circleKeep members and guests informed about club offerings, events, and Golf Shop specials
- check_circleAssist members and guests by locating lost balls, offering rides, and supporting their needs
- check_circleEnsure timely presence on the course and coordinate with staff to report incidents or issues
- check_circleCollaborate with golf operations staff to ensure efficient and seamless service delivery
- check_circleEnforce club rules and golf etiquette while addressing violations with a polite demeanor
Requirements

- verifiedPrior experience in a similar role or extensive knowledge of golf
