We are looking to fill a Registered Nurse position within a dynamic, multi-service line Operating Room suite. This department operates 24/7/365 and serves patients with complex acuity across diverse health care settings. The role involves providing general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care, acting as an expert guide in a high-stakes environment.
In this position, you will be accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. You will delegate nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. Your day-to-day will involve assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, while actively participating in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality and customer satisfaction.
To apply, please ensure you meet the minimum qualifications, including a current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio (or a multi-state compact state) and BLS certification. Candidates must have previous and recent experience in an acute care OR setting. This position requires an on-call commitment of 30 minutes or less, covering weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
