Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDevelop and implement job skills training and in-service education for nursing department employees
- check_circleMonitor competency of C.N.A. skill performance and identify developmental needs of direct care staff
- check_circleConduct skill training for new staff in deficient areas before allowing independent task performance
- check_circleProvide one-on-one instruction to address skill deficiencies and ensure resident safety
Requirements
- verifiedRegistered Nurse with required current state licensure
- verifiedMinimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a health care setting
- verifiedCurrent/active CPR certification
- verifiedKnowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures
- verifiedKnowledgeable of laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
Nice to Have
Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in a long-term care setting.
