About the Role

The Staff Accountant is the steward of our financial integrity, responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting mechanics within a growing, venture-backed environment. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a regulated industry where financial statements are subject to annual AICPA audits. You will own key components of the monthly close process, maintain rigorous supporting schedules and reconciliations, and assist in preparing financial statements for both management and external auditors.

In this position, you will not only execute standard accounting tasks but also help build disciplined accounting processes. You will work closely with the team to track clinical trial and research-related expenses, ensuring accurate vendor accruals and study costs. Your work will directly support the company's growth by implementing best practices for financial controls and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
