About the Role
Radar Systems Engineering within Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a candidate to support the design, integration, and test verification of high-performance radar systems. The successful candidate will have strong analytic and communication skills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.
In this role, you will apply advanced technologies and scientific principles to develop revolutionary radar solutions. You will translate customer requirements into radar system software specifications through functional analysis, design trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition. You will also develop models and detailed simulations to assess system performance and conduct system verification to support certification activities.
Beyond technical execution, you will represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, government lab partners, program and senior leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on significant technical matters. You will provide direction on Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tooling, automate repeatable tasks through scripting, and mentor early career engineers in the systems engineering activities required to deliver products to stakeholders and customers alike.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or related STEM degree
- verifiedMinimum 5 years of related experience
- verifiedHigh proficiency in C++ or equivalent object-oriented language, Matlab, and scripting languages
- verifiedExperience in two or more areas: systems engineering, software and system analysis, requirements development, verification and validation, trade studies, modeling and simulation, or integration and test
- verifiedExperience working with customers to drive complex technical issues to closure
- verifiedAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level
- verifiedU.S. Citizenship required
