About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join the Network Security Implementation and Sustainment (NSIS) Services division. In this role, you will be an integral member of a dynamic team operating on a 24/7 basis, contributing to comprehensive network management and the safety of our nation.
This position encompasses a broad spectrum of work, ranging from the conceptualization and design of network architectures to the execution, maintenance, and enhancement of current infrastructures. You will collaborate with Systems Engineers and cross-functional teams to define requirements, resolve complex network problems, and lead large-scale initiatives involving dynamic requirements and scale. The role offers flexible shift options to ensure continuous service delivery and support.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAnalyze design specifications and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal performance
- check_circleOptimize network configurations for connectivity and coordinate with system engineering teams
- check_circleFacilitate implementation of high-speed, scalable, and fault-tolerant WAN/LAN topologies
- check_circleCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex network problems and operate test equipment
- check_circleManage assigned tasks and provide guidance to junior Network Engineers
- check_circleContribute to security planning, risk analysis, and implementation of security systems
- check_circleProvide technical leadership to engineering teams and enforce trusted relationships among external systems
- check_circleDesign, integrate, configure, and deploy network devices including load-balancers, VPNs, and firewalls
- check_circleDesign, integrate, test, and deploy RF communications solutions
Requirements
- verifiedTS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required
- verifiedMinimum 10 years of experience in similar scope/type/complexity programs
- verifiedBachelor's degree in engineering OR 4 additional years of network engineering experience
- verified5 years experience with network tools (What's Up Gold, NetFlow) and SIGINT tools (Common View/Max View, Triton, TUMMS)
- verified3 years experience with DCID 6/3 and/or ICD 503, creating firewall rule sets, and configuring switches, routers, and firewalls
