About the Role
As we continue to grow, JMAC Lending is seeking a skilled Loan Closer to join our Closing department. In this role, you will carefully review and understand loan documents, facilitating open communication about loan files with JMAC's valued customers. You will be the bridge between complex regulatory requirements and seamless client experiences, ensuring every file moves from application to funding with precision.

Work Environment
This is a Full-Time/Fully Remote opportunity. The role operates on a Pacific Time schedule, with working hours from 7:00 am–4:00 pm or 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

- check_circleManage funding processes to ensure prompt and precise disbursement of funds
- check_circleVerify outstanding conditions are satisfied before releasing funds
- check_circleComplete Closing Disclosures accurately for investor delivery
- check_circleValidate principal reductions and ensure files reach investors without deficiencies
- check_circleMeet closing SLAs and turnaround times with precision and efficiency
- check_circleFoster clear communication with internal teams and external partners
- check_circleUpdate knowledge of company policies and industry regulations regularly
- check_circleResolve closing purchase suspense issues before lock expiration dates
- check_circleCollaborate with parties to confirm consummation dates and finalize closing figures
Requirements
- verifiedAt least five years of experience in mortgage-related roles
- verifiedHigh School Diploma or equivalent
- verifiedFamiliarity with TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosures (TRID) guidelines
- verifiedUnderstanding of Conventional, Government, Jumbo, and Non-QM loan programs
- verifiedProficiency in mortgage loan operating software
- verifiedStrong computer skills with Microsoft Office applications
