About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team at our Costa Mesa HQ. In this role, you will work on core product development for complex systems, including optical systems, batteries, mechanisms, control systems, and sensors. You will execute rapid evaluations of engineering concepts, perform physics-based analysis on blue-sky problems, and manage internal and external market research. The position demands high ownership and frequent collaboration with other core disciplines, requiring you to wear many hats while maintaining a practical, hands-on approach.

You will lead design reviews, run analysis, visit vendors, and define and execute hardware test plans. Your work will involve building prototypes, analyzing failures, and transitioning successful projects into production. You will support critical hardware demonstrations with customers and travel to test sites as needed.
