About the Role
This position prioritizes and performs a wide variety of clinical laboratory tests on various biological specimens, reviewing, evaluating, documenting, and reporting results with a focus on patient confidentiality and safety protocols. Beyond technical execution, you will serve as a technical consultant upon delegation by the medical director and act as a mentor to laboratory personnel. You will train and supervise trainees, laboratory assistants, and clerks as needed, ensuring the integrity of the laboratory's operations.
Hiring Incentives
Up to $20,000 hiring incentive and $5,000 relocation are available for eligible rehires and external hires who meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Adventist Health is looking for candidates who meet the following requirements: Bachelor's Degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, biological sciences, chemical sciences or allied health technologies or equivalent; Valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license in state of employment; Current certification from American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or National Credentialing Agency for Labs (NCA) preferred; Three years' clinical laboratory experience preferred; All required vaccinations as a condition of employment; and E-Verify participation acknowledgment.
