This position serves as a vital link in our clinical laboratory, prioritizing and performing a wide variety of clinical laboratory tests on various biological specimens. You will review, evaluate, document, and report results while preserving patient confidentiality and adhering to lab safety and maintenance protocols.
Beyond technical testing, you will serve as a technical consultant upon delegation by the medical director. This role includes mentoring laboratory personnel and training or supervising trainees, laboratory assistants, and clerks as needed. You will ensure the integrity of each specimen through positive patient identification procedures and proper handling, from collection to storage. Your expertise will be essential in reviewing the validity and accuracy of test results, correlating them with diagnoses, and expediting critical values to appropriate clinicians.
Up to $20,000 hiring incentive and $5,000 relocation are available for eligible rehires and external hires who meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment.
