The Business Development Senior Manager serves as a strategic partner to the Global Commercial Disputes practice group in the United States. This position sits at the intersection of legal expertise and commercial strategy, providing leadership to attorneys, partners, and associates while collaborating with firmwide marketing resources. The role is designed to drive growth by managing the full spectrum of business development and marketing activities for key focus areas, including class actions, trials, and products liability.
In this capacity, you will function as a central resource for the practice group, translating complex legal capabilities into compelling market narratives. The role requires a deep understanding of the group's revenue priorities, client landscape, and competitive positioning. You will lead holistic business development efforts that foster firmwide collaboration, ensuring that the practice group's strengths are effectively communicated to current and prospective clients. The key to success in this role is the ability to strategically evaluate client development opportunities against current market trends and the firm's competitive advantages, guiding each initiative from conception to completion to ensure optimal return on investment.
You will work within a growing, energetic, and global marketing and business development team. The position demands a blend of strategic creativity and operational excellence, requiring you to navigate global issues impacting the group while building and maintaining strong, trust-based relationships with attorneys.
